PIRE will provide expertise and support in the following areas: --Background research for APIS policy topics including policy memoranda, procedures and protocol memoranda, and responses to COR requests; --Advice on the bridge between social science and the law in the development and refinement of APIS policy topics and materials; --Update and perform quality assurance of "surround materials" such as policy descriptions, selected references and other "surround" items; --Order and maintain secondary source materials; --Prepare and coordinate APIS publicity announcements and create and maintain contact lists; --Maintain and secondary source master list; --Perform daily research on alcohol policy statutes and regulations; --Perform all PIRE administrative functions for the APIS subcontract.
