Principal Investigator: Sue ThomasSponsor: SAMHSA (10/1/2012 - 9/30/2013) Proposal Abstract PIRE shall provide a full range of services necessary to facilitate development of the State Report. These services include, but are not limited to the following tasks and deliverables: - provide accurate and detailed information on specific and current (not historical) alcohol-related statutes and policies adopted by the States, using appropriateelectronic and other resources; information for this report will be assembled for each State and territory individually. - collaborate with APIS contractor to assemble the additional information called for in the STOP Act, using 11 appropriate electronic and other resources. For those areas not already included in the APIS database or through other resources available to the APIS contractor, the prime Contractor or other expert consultant will canvass each State for the appropriate information; - collaborate with prime Contractor to develop the format of the State Reports, including the format of the individual State profiles. - develop and submit drafts of the State Reports to the TOO for review at various stages of the process to ensure that the requirements of the STOP Act are being met, and will submit the final report to the TOO in a format suitable for printing, after incorporating comments from the review process. - prepare any documents necessary for OMB data collection clearance. - attend monthly meetings between Contractor (CRP), the APIS contractor (CDM) and the TOO to monitor progress and address issues and concerns as they may arise.
