It is our perspective that the evaluation goals should not be disconnected from the underlying purpose of the entire "program" as a whole (OJJDP and the three funded initiatives). Thus, our overarching goals and their associated objectives home closely to the most ideal outcomes of the collective initiative: Goal 1: Fulfill, with high qualify, the GPRA Performance Measures set for the evaluation grant and the program as a whole; Goal 2: Contribute to the success of the overall program through wise action and a tailored evaluation design that is supportive and collaborative with all stakeholders; and Goal 3: Through rigorous and sensitive data collection, analysis and interpretation, capture and disseminate all relevant learning for the benefit of future program practitioners and the research community.
