Proposal Abstract
The objectives of this exploratory project are to determine how ignition interlock data is being used for offender monitoring and offenser-related programs, such as screening, assessments and treatment for alcohol abuse problems, identify jurisdictions that utilize ignition interlock data in offeender monitoring programming, and determine if the interlock data can bwe used effectively to reduce alcohol-impaired driving recidivism.
