The Calverton, Maryland-based Public Services Research Institute (PSRI) applies skills in program development, quantitative and qualitative evaluation, policy analysis, and economic analysis to a range of public health and safety issues. PSRI had its origins as the National Public Services Research Institute, a not-for-profit company founded in 1971 that became a leader in evaluation and human factors research in traffic safety. Today's PSRI has extended that scope.
