Dr. Courser is a Senior Research Scientist in PIRE's Louisville Center. He is a research methodologist who works both domestically and internationally on evaluations of drug treatment programs, mentoring and other positive youth development interventions, and education programs. He also works closely with states and communities to implement the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) and to help communities make data-driven decisions that fit the community context. Key areas of expertise include developmental evaluation, survey design, survey sampling, quantitative and qualitative data collection, and performance measurement.
